LEITH HILL MUSICAL FESTIVAL, WHICH IS BASED IN DORKING, SURREY, IS HELD IN APRIL EACH YEAR AND CONSISTS OF THREE DAYS OF COMPETITIONS AND CONCERTS FOR LOCALLY-BASED CHOIRS. IN MARCH EACH YEAR, IT PERFORMS ONE OF THE BACH PASSIONS AND HOLDS COMPETITIONS FOR CHOIRS OF YOUNG PEOPLE.

Story

Flicky and Howard have completed the 'End to End' starting May 11th at Land's End, and finishing at John O'Groats on July 14th,
covering 1369 miles through terrific scenery (our route - not the official one)
   seeing 128 bird species
   consuming 29 tea cakes
   drinking 109 cans/pints of beer/ cider
to raise money for the Leith Hill Musical Festival, and 3 other charities.

It took 9 weeks and 2 days and it was a real adventure: we met lots of good people; we got very hot, very cold, extremely wet. Our major investment in mosquito nets, insect repellent, and post-bite medication was largely wasted - the midges and clegs must have decided it was too windy, because we hardly saw any!

The Leith Hill Musical Festival is 104 years old and thriving.  It needs your help to  maintain its standard of excellence, and so please sponsor us now!

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way:  Leith Hill Musical Festival gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
