Tony Mills, Chief Executive of HCPT – The Pilgrimage Trust has taken up the challenge to join over 60 other volunteer walkers on a 50km walk in Lourdes, France, in February 2008 and is looking for your sponsorship.

Tony is aiming to raise £5,800 for the Trust, which will enable 10 children with special needs and other disabilities to experience a holiday of a lifetime with HCPT.

To coincide with the 150th Anniversary of Our Lady’s appearances in Lourdes, HCPT – The Pilgrimage Trust has organised three walks of which February is the first. The other walks are taking place on 21st - 22nd March and the 6th – 8th December.

The overall target for all three walks is £100,000, which will mean that more than 170 children will benefit. HCPT takes thousands of children with disabilities or special needs on a pilgrimage holiday to Lourdes in France. The children travel in small family-style groups with experienced volunteer helpers, doctors, nurses and chaplains.
