HSK/KPMG Three Peaks Challenge 2008 · 2 June 2008

We work in rural Kenya to support & empower communities; building schools and helping to maintain a quality education through the provision of school infrastructure, school lunches, desks, teacher training, student bursary schemes, water harvesting, sanitation and teaching materials.

Story

On 25-26 July a team from KPMG Advisory together with a few friends and family, will be undertaking the Three Peaks Challenge: to scale Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon, the highest peaks in England, Scotland and Wales, within 24 hours.

We are doing this to raise money for Harambee Schools Kenya (HSK), a charity dedicated to building infrastructure in rural Kenyan primary schools.  In particular, funds raised will go towards Kamathatha Primary School, a government school in a deprived area of the Rift Valley.  HSK had also launched an appeal to support children displaced by the turmoil following the 2007 elections – see www.hsk.org.uk for further details.

Thank you for your generosity.
