There is a desperate need to tackle oral disease, infection and chronic pain throughout the developing world - to enable people to work, attend school and care for families. We teach skills that mean local people are able to function free from pain, and avoid preventable infections and diseases.

In 2011 we are travelling to Tanzania for 2 weeks to take part in some voluntary work, renovating several classrooms at Kigongo Primary School and running a play-scheme with the children in the afternoons.

Bridge2Aid (www.bridge2aid.org) is a registered charity operating dental and community development programmes in North West Tanzania.  It provides primary dental care and education whilst equipping and training local people as health care professionals.  As part of our commitment to the charity we intend to raise a minimum of £12,000 to help fund the refurbishment of the clinic/shelter.  All donations on this page go directly towards the project.  Please help us to reach our target - together we can put a smile on someone's face...
