Thanks for visiting our fundraising page. Please support the staff from HSBC Securities Services (HSS) in Edinburgh who will be undertaking this challenge to raise money for The Dystonia Society, our nominated charity for 2008. For those of you that don't know, Dystonia is a neurological condition which causes involuntary muscle contractions and spasms, which can lead the affected parts of the body to develop abnormal movements or postures. This painful condition affects approx 40,000 children and adults in the UK alone. The participants will be cycling or walking from one of the following start points: Linlithgow (21.5 miles); Broxburn (12.5 miles); Edinburgh Park (5 miles). All routes will follow the Union Canal and finish at the Canal basin in Fountainbridge. All monies raised will go directly to The Dystonia Society and your contribution will be matched pound for pound by HSBC.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor us: The Dystonia Society gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
So please sponsor us now! Many thanks.
