Story

Thanks for dropping by my new pages on Just giving. As some of you will know having had to drop out of London Marathon this year I am intending to beat my fundraising of two years ago and try and raise £4000 for Phab kids!!

OK I was going to run 3 marathons to try and reach my target, but things got a tad messy when I knackered my foot up back in July, So The Wolverhampton Marathon had to get postponed, but I intend to replace it with some other races instead.

1st Marathon - Wolverhampton on 5th September (Postponed)
1a 10K - Weston Park 10K on 29th September - Personal Best Achieved
2nd Marathon - La Rochelle on 28th November
3rd Marathon - London Marathon on 16 April

If you keep coming back I will try and update you on my training and progress.
Training Update! Week beging 19 September - Things are going well this week, with 16 miles done so far (by Wed) - Seems to be getting more enjoyable!! Hope hope I can finish in good form at this weekends race. Week begining 26 September - Well The 10K on Sunday went fantastically, knocked a good five minutes off my personal best - At the 6 mile mark the time was 48.42 and as most of the course was grass we were most impressed. The finish line came along at 6.47Miles (funny distance for a 10K race I think) and the clock stopped at 52min which made me well chuffed - was actually in the top 60 people out of 650 folk. Had Monday - wednesday off this week to recover, but will be back at it tomorrow dont you worry. Come back soon for more news. Thanks again ! Together we can really make a difference to those kids !!
