Having come to Bradford at the start of the 1984/85 season and stayed ever since this is a cause that resonates strongly with me. The pioneering Burns Research Unit is regularly threatened with closure due to lack of funds so every penny raised makes a real difference.
For those that aren’t
already aware, the Burns Unit was set up in the
wake of the 1985 Valley Parade Fire and as 2010 marks the 25th
Anniversary of this terrible tragedy it seems thoroughly fitting to
devote all proceeds from the HTG Events Saltaire Craft Markets in 2010
to such a worthy,
relevant and local cause.
