WE DID IT !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hughenden Lodge held a Sponsored Group Tandem/Parachute Jump on the 29th & 30th May 2010 at Weston on the Green to raise money for PACE Early Years Fund.
Many of the skydivers had their own JustGiving pages, so the total on this page IS NOT THE GRAND TOTAL. As of today (30th July) the total to date collected is about £10,800 The JustGiving pages will remain open for some time yet, so it will still be possible for late payments to reach PACE
PACE is a wonderful charity, based in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, which transforms the lives of children aged 6 months and above, with physical disabilities, such as Cerebral Palsy. For this event, we have been raising money for “The First Steps Fund” which supports early years children, up to 4 years of age. PACE is in its 20th year and we will be helping them to reach more children and their plans to provide bigger and better facilities.
Marc McLaughlin, now Master Elect, of Hughenden Lodge, ( who has Cerebral Palsy ) joined Mike Munday, our present Worshipful Master, along with John Manton - Secretary, David Sparkes - DC and Clive Plummer, and we had a number of other Lodge WM's and Members, friends and family along for the Skydive, namely - Neil Ashley, Andrew Jarvis, Nick Ketteridge, Angus Mackay, Norman Peckett, Tim Anders, Adi Himpson, Jane Bates (John Manton's Daughter) Veronica Cucuiat, Marj Wilson, ALL Skydiving for PACE
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure GiftAid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - we raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
There are still many who have said that they will donate, but have not yet committed. So please do not be put off by the closing date having been reached. Your donations will still be added to our total, and will be very gratefully received.
Many thanks to all who took part in the Skydive
Many thanks to all who given so generously
Very many thanks to ALL who have made it possible for such a spectacular result
Best regards to all, from John Manton and the Skydive Team
