Thank you so much for all your support which helped me round the 2008 London Marathon course in 4hrs 2mins. Despite adverse weather conditions everything was going brilliantly until about mile 20 when it began to feel rather like I was running through treacle. A very slow jog past one of the drink stations and three lucozade bottles later, I had enough sugar to keep plodding on.
