Jamyang is a centre for meditation and the study of Tibetan Buddhism in the heart of London. Since its establishment in 1978, its main aims are to provide Buddhist teachings to everyone interested, and to develop local community services. It also has the wonderful good fortune of having Geshe Tashi Tsering as a resident teacher, whose teachings transform the lives of all of us who have been taught by him. He is a an exceptional teacher of Buddhism, modest, much-respected and sought-after world-wide; we are extraordinarily lucky to have him with us as a resident teacher; and preserving Mahayana teachings in the Gelugpa tradition is incredibly important in these turbulent times.
