Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online. I'm running the Humber Bridge half marathon in memory of my nephew Seb Brown, who died suddenly in March 2006 aged 21. Seb suffered from an arthritis-related condition called lupus and had been making plans to raise money for this cause. LUPUS UK is entirely dedicated to supporting people with this condition.
I'm running this half marathon as preparation for the Great North Run in October, which I'm also doing in memory of Seb and to raise money for the Arthritis Research Campaign, who are the major fundraisers for lupus research in the UK. If you'd like to support me in this too, please go to the fundraising page.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: LUPUS UK will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
I'll keep a diary of my preparation and information about any other fundraising events on a homepage at www.dentbrown.karoo.net if you want more information.
Many thanks for your support,
Kim Dent-Brown
