Hummersknott School Lands End to John O'Groats · 23 July 2008

We are dedicated to improving the quality of life and chances of survival for young cancer patients aged 13-24. We fund and build specialist units in NHS hospitals and provide dedicated staff, bringing young people together so they can be treated by teenage cancer experts in the best place for them.

Story

Thanks for visiting our fundraising page.

In June this year we will be riding from Lands End to John O Groats with pupils from Hummersknott School in Darlington in aid of the Teenage Cancer Trust. We will be supervising the group of pupils taking part in the ride which will cover more than 1,000 miles in two weeks.

Alastair Humphries, the round the world cyclist, explorer and author has already donated the profits from sales of his book in Darlington during National Bike Week 2008.

All the money raised by us will be going directly to the charity (no sponsorship money will be used to fund the trip) so please give generously.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Teenage Cancer Trust gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
