Hello everyone!!! Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Basically my friend sent me an email asking if I knew anyone who'd fancy doing an abseil for the charity she works for...and in a moment of madness I said 'Yeah I'll do it!!'. So on the 30th August I'll be jumping 200ft down a sheer cliff face into the lake below (I did query whether 'into the lake below' meant exactly that as I'm not the best of swimmers and apparently you just land on a floating pontoon!!).

I've never done anything like this before so should be interesting to say the least - one or two people have already suggested I may plummet uniwittingly to my doom - so if you feel the same may happen then hopefully you'll make a decent donation for my final efforts!!

So dig deep everyone!! It's all for a good cause...and if this goes well (and I don't meet my maker!!) then I may even attempt a few more fun things for charity!!
