I am trying to raise money for The Blue Cross, Britain's Pet Charity. Every year The Blue Cross re-homes up to 6,000 pets and provides free veterinary care for many thousands, at a cost of 11.5 million pounds! They have 11 small animal adoption centres, 2 equine adoption centres and 4 small animal veterinary hospitals. They need as much support as possible to keep up their good work.

I have just done a one-week, 220 km trek over frozen wastelands and through pine forests in the North of Norway, caring for my own team of 4 Siberian Husky dogs. I trekked for about 4-6 hours a day, at temperatures as low as -30*C! It was a physical and mental challenge but ultimately rewarding and certainly unforgettable.
