On Sunday 21 July 2013 I ran in the National Lottery Annicersary 5 mile race in the Olympic Park finishing with a lap of the Olympic track winning my age group category and raised over £1,200 for the BHF.

The fundraising work continues as does the work representing the British Heart Foundation as an Ambassador.  Recently a defibrillator was presented to Whitland rugby and cricket clubs from donations received from my 2012 pilgrimage in Pembrokeshire in honour of the poet and pacifist Waldo Williams.

To date over £28,000 has been raised since 2007.
