In my 29 years of life I've never really been much of a fan of running (unless it's running after a football, or more likely, the ice cream van).
Therefore, it is with much trepidation that I am entering the Berlin Marathon on 20 September this year. Having had to endure tales of finishing a marathon for a couple of years now from Oliver Dean and Stephen McElwee, and trying to impress my marathon-fanatic boss at work (that didn't work very well), I decided to take the plunge and take on the frankly terrifying prospect of running 26 miles and 385 yards.
I've decided to run for the third world development charity Concern, and would be very grateful for any sponsorship, however modest.
The official blurb - donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Concern Worldwide England & Wales gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
Many thanks for your support!
