Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My sister has duped me into running around Greenwich Park on December 6th dressed as that jolly old paedophile, S. Claus, to raise money for Lifeblood, the Thrombosis charity. As some of you are doubtless aware, my Dad died very suddenly nearly three years ago (where did that go?) from a pulmonary embolism caused by a DVT. He'd been playing badminton on the ill-fated Court No.1 at Maldon Leisure Centre (never book it, apparently it has previous...) and tore his calf muscle. Apparently that's all the Reaper needs to be green-lit sometimes. Lifeblood raise awareness of what is an incredibly common way to cark, so please pledge a couple of quid in memory of my dear Dad.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Thanks, Iain X
