Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Ulster Cancer Foundation gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
I am part of an Invest NI team climbing Ben Nevis (highest peak in the British Isles) on September 26 to raise funds for the Ulster Cancer Foundation. Organized events like this require a minimum amount of sponsorship to cover the cost of actually running the event - in this case that amount will be covered by me so anything which you might kindly donate will go to the charity without deducting the event cost.
The Ulster Cancer Foundation operates in 4 main ways: firstly helping cancer patients by providing a range of services to them and their families; also promoting and supporting high quality research into the causes, treatment and prevention of cancer; undertaking education and prevention programmes; and finally they run public campaigns and advocacy work.
