I am competing in a 150 mile trail running event  in the south of France over 6 days.  The event is called La Trans Aq and is held down the Aquitaine coast from north of Bordeaux to near Biarritz during the first week of June. We must be self-sufficient for the duration of the race including carrying our own food and other supplies.

A few years ago the son of one of my running friends died of a brain tumour at the age of 16. Since that time his father has worked tirelessly to raise funds for this very worthwhile cause and I am pleased to be able to help him.
