The summit day lasted a full 13 hours. Wew left base camp at 1.30am and scrammbled to the snow line by 5.00am jsuas the sunlight started to appear over the horizon. Another couple of hours crossing the snow fields and glacier took us to the final Ice wall and summit ridge. The weather was clear and calm and the view and feeling at the top was exceptional. 15 minutes rest and the descent began. We arrived back in camp at 2.30pm, mighty tired but mighty pleased.

Thanks to all who have supported this venture with kind words of encouragement and the valuable donations to the charities.
