John O'Groats to Lands End Cycle · 12 May 2009

In August 2016, Depression Alliance merged with Mind, the mental health charity. We believe no one should have to face a mental health problem alone. We’re here for you. Money you donate here will be used exclusively for services previously run by Depression Alliance, e.g. Friends in Need.

Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

For some mad reason Tom, Rich and I are cycling from John O'Groats to Lands End and trying to raise a bit of cash for charity on the way. Its a miracle this idea has even got off the ground so please dig deep and give generously!

We are flying from Bristol to Inverness on the 31st of May and then getting the train to Thurso to begin the ride from John O'Groats. We are hoping to complete the ride in 12 days to allow us to get back for medical viva's if called, (Hopefully not!)

Will try and regularly update this page to keep you informed of our progress.

Ian

19/5/09 20.06: Due to the unexpected rush of donations, I have increased the target amount to £2000. Keep it up!

20/5/09 15.35: Donated £1000 directly to depression alliance. Mary and David Davies and the boys, "Good luck and best wishes!" D&M

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Depression Alliance gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now!
