Every two hours, someone in the UK will become paralysed. Globally, it is estimated that 15.4 million people are living with paralysis. At Spinal Research our vision is to create a world where paralysis can be cured, no matter when the injury occurred or where in the world.

Story

Hi,  I succeded in doing my tandem sky dive on Sunday. Thanks for all your support and i will post some photos as soon as i can

In December 1999 I had a car accident resulting in a broken neck and paralysis from the shoulders down. Since then I've completed an MSc degree and set-up my own business in the Yorkshire Dales...... life always goes on. However it would be a lot easier if there was an option of spinal cord repair!

Spinal Research are the people with whom I trust to find a way of providing this option for me and thousands of others. To do this they need money, lots of it! So i'm going to chuck myself out of a plane (or rather the bloke I'm strapped to, will chuck me out!) and ask you to sponsor my decent to earth! ........... and I REALLY don't like heights so please be generous.

Thank you  visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Spinal Research will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support.

Ian
