On 24th June i completed the hardest challenge I've ever done by completing the Swiss Ironman in 15h 36m. When i go off the bike i had blisters on both feet and it made the 26.2 mile run (hobble) extremely painful for every mile. My times were :
2.4 mile Swim = 1h 53m
T1 = 7m 22s
112 mile Bike = 7h 19m
T2 = 7m 31s
26.2 mile Run = 6h 8m
Thank you to all who sponsored me, it helped me finish the event knowing how much was at stake. The money is still being donated and the total has just broken £2000, which is a tremendous effort by all.

Due to the tremendous support from so many, i have already achieved my initial target of £1000. I am therefore increasing my target to £1500 to see how close i can get to this.

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep, sponsor me online and help me raise much needed funds for a very worthy cause.
On 24th June i shall be attempting to complete the 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike & 26.2 mile run of the Swiss Ironman.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Niemann-Pick Disease Group Uk will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you. As I have a family member with NP, this is a charity close to my heart.
NPDG is a charity supporting patients with Niemann-Pick, which is an inherited metabolic disorder in which harmful quantities of a fatty substance accumulate in the spleen, liver, lungs, bone marrow & brain. It mainly affects children, but can sometimes occur in young adults. There is currently no known treatment and results in the death of the patient
Many thanks for your support.
