My story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

My Brother has challenged me to join him on this years bike ride to Paris. Starting on July 17th and returning home - hopefully - on the 21st. As he is fast approaching 50 and i towards 40 you would think with my physique and age i would have the edge on him. Alas he thinks not - he's been at the gym for a few months now and with just over 3 months to go i need to retrieve my bike from the back of the shed and prepare myself for some saddle soreness.

All donations are greatfully received and should i pass the fundraising target above then the balance will be forwarded to another charity SCOPE. This charity is close to home. Its for people who have Cerebral Palsy. Our little one Maddison was diagnosed with this at an early age and whislt we are very lucky that she has a mild form of this, it is a condition that  most people are uneducated in. The condition occurs as a result of the brain not developing or as an occurance of a bleed on the brain usually just before or at birth . It affects 1 in 400 children in the UK and is especially common in premature babies as Maddison was. As such i would like to raise money for this charity in addition.

So whilst i'll be out pounding the streets of England and France please dig deep into your pockets and donate a few sheckles.

Thanyou in advance of your support.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The Fire Fighters Charity gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
