Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.
My dad died from prostate cancer 2 years ago. To see a loved one suffer for 5 years is harrowing and scars you for life. It is hard to imagine the feelings of the suffererer. Prostate Cancer Research Charity aims to help the suffering and hopefully combat prostate cancer one day through its stem cell research. Myself, family and friends have supported this charity for a while now and have raised over £1000.
A slightly unusual charity event involves recording a version of the song by Snow Patrol, Chasing Cars in my home studio from scratch. You will get to hear my finished version, for use privately to friends and family.
You can track my progress and make comments at www.ian.carrick.com/charity.html
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to donate: Prostate Cancer Research Centre will receive your money electronically and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in Gift Aid will be added to your donation at no cost to you.
Please donate generously and I would really appreciate it if you pass this onto your friends/family too!
Many thanks for your support.
