I did it! I ran the London Marathon on the 26th of April 2009 (26.2 miles!!). It took me 4 hours 54 minutes, and raised £2,265.24 against a target of £1,800.

On September 20th 2009 I ran the Berlin marathon in 4hrs 49 mins and pledged to raise a further £1,000, unfortunately due to the current climate, I have only raised £500 so far

With this in mind, I have embarked on the 3 Peaks Challenge (Pennyghent, Whernside and the other one) which I completed on Saturday 12th June 2010 which I completed in 10hrs 15 mins.

£42 means a child can receive full counselling from a ChildLine volunteer

£1,600 could be used to recruit and train a ChildLine volunteer counsellor. Among other factors the more counsellors we can recruit, the more calls we can answer.

£3,476 could pay for all the costs associated with all the work a ChildLine counsellor will do during a year.
