Having started life as an adoption agency, Parents And Children Together has, over time, added two further strands to its work in order all the better to build and strengthen families as its mission statement runs. The charity works hard and within all kinds of innovative partnerships to support families in the community so that they can better withstand the pressures of life today and, in a quest for the highest possible standards of training for its own and external employees, PACT’s education arm provides nationally recognised courses for those working in social care settings “from crèche to care home.
Meanwhile, the adoption and fostering work continues as successfully as nearly 100 years ago, finding permanent placements for some of the 5,000 children a year for whom the Courts wish to find a new “forever family.

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. I don't have many talents but I can keep on running - well, these days it's more of a shuffle !!! I'm raising money for a really worthwhile cause - a local Childrens Charity that makes a difference to the lives of vunerable kids.
