The Woodland Trust is the UK's leading woodland conservation charity who creates, protects and cares for woodland across the UK. We are working hard to create a UK rich in native woods and trees, for people and wildlife. But we can't do this alone. We can't achieve our vision without you.

Story

Hi folks,

As you (may) know, I try to do something for a UK based charity every year. This year I am taking part in the Talisker Trek on Skye over the weekend 1 - 3 Jun, an event which aims to raise funds for the Woodland Trust. The Woodland Trust was set up in 1972 to plant new trees and help conserve woodland across the UK.  The money raised here will help to plant an additional 250,000 trees across Britain over the next 3 years. and I do hope you will feel able to dig into your pockets and sponsor me online.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Woodland Trust will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support.  Ian
