Edinburgh Marathon 2008 · 25 May 2008 ·

Moebius Syndrome is a rare congenital disorder which to date, has no cure. It affects primarily the 6th & 7th cranial nerves, which means that those with the condition are unable to move their faces (can't smile, frown, suck, grimace or blink eyes). We aim to raise £250,000 to fund research into the cause of Moebius.

Story

Thank you for visiting Ian and Jodie's fundraising page.

On 25th May we will be attempting our first marathon

So whilst most of you are nursing your bank holiday hangovers - we'll be pounding the pavements of Edinburgh and enduring 26 miles of pain...Why?  Good question! And one I'm sure Jodie and I will be asking ourselves several times on Sunday...

We're running to help raise money for a small UK Childrens charity called the Moebius Research Trust. They need to raise funds to start research into this rare condition. For more details please see opposite/the Moebius website.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Moebius Research Trust will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

Every donation will make a difference so please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support.

Ian Goodall and Jodie (soon to be Goodall!)
