I am running the Reading Half Marathon again this year and will again be raising funds for Diabetes UK.  My dad has had diabetes since he was in his 20's so I have first hand experience of the impact the disease has on people's lives.  It will be good to know that the 13 miles of pain will be helping to fund research into the disease and helping those that suffer from it.
