The March to Molineux · 12 February 2012

Acorns supports more than 800 children and over 1,100 families every year. The charity needs to raise £14 million each year to provide its care services across hospices and community settings. Your support means Acorns can continue to be there for local families facing the unimaginable.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

My son, Jude, was born in November 2007 with a catastrophic condition called Infantile Spasms. This has caused him severe developmental delay and at 4 years old Jude cannot walk or talk, does not use his hands and has very poor eyesight. If you want to know more of his story visit http://judemarrey.wordpress.com/

Jude is provided with respite at Acorns Childrens Hospice in Birmingham which allows our family the opportunity to take time for ourselves - last month Acorns had Jude for a number of days while his older brother was in hospital having an operation.

On the day Wolves play West Bromwich Albion, Sunday 12th February, fans of both clubs will be walking from The Hawthorns (home of WBA) to Molineux (home of the Wolves). You can check out others who are raising money for The March to Molineux here.
