Brighton Marathon 2012 · 15 April 2012 ·

We help children with cerebral palsy and other motor disorders unlock their potential. Our unique combination of Conductive Education and Occupational Therapy helps children achieve movement milestones, develop essential life skills, and enjoy greater independence and inclusion in everyday life.

Story

I am running in the forthcoming Brighton marathon to support Whoopsadaisy, a charity that provides conductive education to children with cerebral palsy and other motor disorders. This system of learning, developed at the Peto Institute in Hungary, helps children maximise their independence in their everyday lives and shows parents/carers how to help their children at home.

Rachel's mum Helen works extensively with Whoopsadaisy and the best way to see the work they do is to watch the video on the website - www.whoopsadaisy.org.

WATCH THE VIDEO NOW!

I am aiming to run a sub 3hr40min marathon and raise at least £1,000 in the process. I hope Deloitte will contribute a further £500 through its match giving scheme.

I am posting training updates on twitter - please follow me @ianrorymcmillan

I am posting my training runs on facebook via Garmin Connect - www.facebook.com/ianrorymcmillan

Thanks in advance for your donations!
