This time around i am raising money for a local charity Grove House. They do not get national coverage and every penny is vital to them.

Grove House provide specialist support to patients and families with cancer and other life threatening diseases. Those of us who have suffered an illness, or know people who have suffered, will appreciate the value of this type of care.

I know we are in the middle of tough financial times. I also appreciate that many of us already make charitable donations. However if you can spare a little or alot, it is going to a really great cause.

Monday 27th Update

I completed the London Marathon yesterday. 4 hours 20mins was the time, which will appear slow to some and fast to others. As far as i am concerned, a finish is a finish, time is not important. Make no mistake this is an awfully long way and is a huge test of physical and mental ability. The last six miles was really just about keeping going and grinding it out!!
