Our vision is that patients with cancer and other life-limiting illnesses in our area can choose how and where they want to be cared for towards the end of life. We provide 24/7 responsive Hospice at Home care and support for all the family during the illness and through bereavement.

Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.  I bicycled from Dungeness on the English Channel coast in Kent to Port of Ness in the Isle of Lewis; I left Stornoway on Monday June 30, left Dungeness on Wed 2 July and completed the ride on Thursday July 17 at 7.30pm. There are so many people to thank, especially those who gave me a bed for the night along the way. I cycled a total of 913m and will be writing individually to people with thanks for their help.

The money raised ( £2700 as at today 13 August) will be split equally between the North of Scotland branch of MacMillan Nurses and the Iain Rennie Hospice at Home who cared for my mum in the last weeks of her life. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to donate: The charities will receive your money electronically and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in Gift Aid will be added to your donation at no cost to you.  .

Many thanks for your support.
