I've Done it!!! 5 hours 24 minutes 36 seconds
A BIG thank you to everyone for your support of both me and Merlin!
Some of you might know that I planned to run the London in 2007 and that my knees didn't agree. Determined to run, I have rescheduled for the 2008 and spent six months working with specialist physiotherapists to resolve the issues and certainly as I get back into training, so far so good.
At least I am now planning to be in the country both before and after the marathon so training can carry on just like everyone else in the dark and wet of an English winter.
My chosen charity is Merlin, who provide emergency medical relief around the world, mainly responding to natural disasters but also war zones and providing long-term health education.
Every penny you donate will do directly to Merlin (in fact if you are a UK tax payer and select Gift Aid they will get even more!).
From the bottom of my heart I thank you for your support, help and inspiration.
