The Lord Mayor's Appeal 2012 - Abseil - Lloyds building · 19 June 2012 ·

The Lord Mayor’s Appeal 2012 is supporting Barts and The London Charity on behalf of the Trauma Unit at The Royal London Hospital, The Rowing Foundation, London Youth Rowing, Fields in Trust and Futures for Kids creating a fitter future for all. (Respective % 70:5:5:10:10)

Story

Being a lunatic I have agreed to abseil down the 289ft Lloyds building in support of The Lord Mayor's Appeal 2012.  I hate heights and don't even like climbing a 5ft ladder to prune my wisteria.  So a really top idea!

Please support me by giving what you can and make it worthwhile risking my life.  The principal beneficiary is the nearby Royal London Hospital Trauma Unit (hoping I wont be the first patient!)

Anything you can donate will be gratefully received - Im trying to raise a minimum of £5000 for this terrific cause. Your money will go directly to the charity and Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer.

I'm jumping in the morning of 19th June - please do come and catch me!

Thanks

Ian
