Muscular Dystrophy UK is the charity bringing individuals, families and professionals together to beat muscle-wasting conditions.

Story

I did it! On 26th April I completed the London Marathon in 3 hrs 34 mins. It is still not too late to sponsor me!

I ran in support  of the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign. I have a personal involvement with the campaign as my step dad Phil Harris has suffered from Muscular Dystrophy for all of his life having been diagnosed from an early age. Please help Phil and others who have to endure this illness by sponsoring me to run the marathon...every penny helps and will go towards the search for treatments and cures for Muscular Dystrophy.

The Muscular Dystrophy Campaign is the only UK charity focusing on all muscular dystrophies and related muscle diseases. More than 60,000 people in the UK are affected. There are no cures. The Muscular Dystrophy Campaign relies almost entirely on voluntary donations to fund their groundbreaking and vital work.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Muscular Dystrophy Campaign gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

Please help to make a difference today for those that suffer from Muscular Dystrophy.

Many Thanks for your support.
