MGR provides immediate help in times of disaster whether caused by natural causes or conflict to help alleviate the suffering of the needy and destitute members of society anywhere in the world. MGR also helps rebuild local communities through self sustaining long term projects.

Story

Thank you to everyone who has donated so far.  We're well on the way to our target, but we really need more of you to sponsor us to help us to achieve the £1500 target for what is a really good cause.  Please dig deep...

MGR are building a school in North Pakistan, the scene of a quite devastating earthquake 2 years ago.  I believe education ought to be a right for all, as it can unleash a child's true potential, and the positive effects of one child's success can benefit future generations.  Please give generously to support MGR with this project.  Ibrar

I agree whole-heartedly with my papa bear, but I am also taking part in the event for some fun,and to find out if we can do it! (also good for father-son bonding I suppose... not looking forward to the situation downstairs after 75 miles on a bike though!) Still, its all for the greater good. A great man once said: "No pain, no gain!" Junaid

So please sponsor us now!

Many thanks for your support.
