Friends, Families and Colleagues,
Thank you all for your generous support to WaterAid, which totalled to £795. The Weather Goddess was also supportive. The team (Javier Arellano, Noemi de la Fuente, Anuradha Joshi, Mick Moore, Adam Randon) camped out on the night of the 11th June in the Tigh-na-sleubaich area of the Western Highlands and then walked up to the peak of Stob Ban (3000+ feet) carrying full camping gear on 12th. We really missed Suvojit, who was unable to get a visa to come to the UK from Ghana and join us.
Among our sponsors, special thanks also to Sir Hugh Munro, who appears to be dead - at least, there is no sign of him on Facebook - and to that famous recluse, Troilus Slackwind, who got the ball rolling with the first donation.
There are 20 Limericks below, as promised. We are aware that a few late sponsors did not receive their promised limerick. The onset of RLS (Repetitive Limerick Strain) was beginning to affect the quality of our product, and a complete rest was advised.
Abel Bove was able to negotiate a special deal. It did not turn out quite right: the video of me singing on top of Stob Ban has become one of me dancing on a lake on Stob Ban. It is available to special subscribers.

From Bilbao there emerged a young maid
With a mission to boost Water Aid
In recruiting old men she's inventive
But they now need financial incentive
