Help us throw light on Parkinson's
On Sunday 10 July (which also happens to be my birthday!!) I will be running the British 10K London Run. I am hoping to raise money to support one of my best friends who was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease 6 years ago.
Becky and I have been friends since about the age of 8 and shared the joy of growing up together! Since she was diagnosed she has worked tirelessly to raise funds towards a target of £100,000 for the Cure Parkinson’s Trust. She has shown resilience, bravery and inspires other people through her fundraising efforts. So, I’m doing this for you Becky. X

BECKY HURD - MY STORY
Six years ago I was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease aged just 29. Around the same time four fellow sufferers began a charity with the key aim of finding a cure for this dreadful debilitating disease. This charity is The Cure Parkinson's Trust.
In my quest to enlighten others about Parkinson's Disease, particularly in young people I set up the Illuminate Brand and the Illuminate Ball.
