Together with local partners and country offices, we’re working in the world’s poorest countries to tackle the root causes of poverty and respond in emergencies, disasters and conflicts.

Story

UPDATE:

We have returned from a difficult yet succesful attempt to reach the peak of Kilimanjaro, by the grace of God. It is now when we cannot forget the children in Afghanistan!! The physical and mental trials we had while climbing the mountain are minor in comparison to the anguish a child has to cope with on a daily basis in Afghanistan. PLEASE continue to support and join us in making the difference today!

Hello and Salaams to you, this is Mohamed and Zubeir's (Mr Alvi's) page of giving! We will be trekking up Kilimanjaro the HIGHEST free standing mountain in the world as part of Green Ribbon Week.

Green Ribbon Week is an annual initiative to increase awareness about the plight of innocent children of war. We will be raising money for the children of Afghanistan. We chose this trek as it is a real challenge, and most importantly because every penny will go to charity.

Muslim Hands is organising this charity challenge, it does charity work in over 40 countries, beneficiaries of their work include Muslims and non-Muslims and they do not discriminate based on religion, race or ethnicity.

With your support we can fulfil the challenge and reach our target of £10,000, God willing, inshallah.
