Dennis: Isn't there some kind of like... special technique?
Gordon: Well... yeah... you put one leg in front of the other over and over again really really fast.
(Run Fat Boy Run)
Yes I'm doing it again.
On 26th April I will be running the London Marathon - that's 26.2 miles. Training has been going pretty well with two half marathons, longer runs and daily training sessions running to either Highgate Hill, Victoria Park in Glasgow and Portobello Beach in Edinburgh. The average marathon runner needs about 2,800 calories to cover the 26.2 miles so I've been stocking up on my carbohydrates - that's the fun bit of training.

I’m supporting the Royal Marsden Cancer Campaign. My dear friend Gareth has been in and out of the Royal Marsden Hospital since he was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia in December. They've taken great care of him and the nursing is superb. The hospital is pioneering and innovating in all areas of cancer treatment as well as having dedicated and highly skilled staff.
"What are you waiting for? You're faster than this. Don't think you are, know you are. Come on!"

Okay, I reckon it's going to take me at least 4hrs and 30 mins to run the 26.2 miles. So please give whatever you can. Every mickle maks a muckle.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Royal Marsden Cancer Campaign gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
