Virgin London Marathon 2013 · 21 April 2013 ·

We’re the National Deaf Children’s Society. We're the charity for deaf children with any level of hearing loss. Whatever the question or challenge, we’ll help find a way through. We believe in a world where anything is possible for deaf children.

Story

Next April I will be running the London Marathon to raise money for the National Deaf Children's Society, a charity close to my heart as I've grown up amongst the deaf community because of my deaf parents and friends.

NDCS does great work to support the 1,600 babies that are born deaf every year in the UK. They believe that every deaf child can do everything that a hearing person can do and fight to remove barriers that deaf children face every day and to ensure that deaf children have the same opportunities as any other child.

If you decide to donate, you will be helping the NDCS to provide information to families with deaf children, to run activities where young people can meet other deaf children (often for the first time) and to campaign to ensure that deaf children and young people get the services and opportunities they need and deserve.

Pleaase donate, 26 miles is a long way!

p.s. please tick yes to gift aid - it adds 20% onto your donation with no extra cost to you at all!
