Many have been shocked and upset by Michael's tragic death and we have been asked the question 'flowers or donations'. Well we know he didn't especially like flowers - possibly a side affect of the hay fever. We don't know if he had a favorite charity (though CAMRA might spring to mind), but he certainly lived for the Civil Service and the Civil Service Benevolent Fund does a marvellous job, so this seems appropriate. Apologies for the rather crass 'Raised so far' bit - this is a standard feature of this system which I couldn't figure out how to disable, but Mike wouldn't have approved! I (Peter) have set this up on behalf of the family and we would all like to express our deepest thanks for all the kind thoughts that have been expressed.
