We Did It!!! We are very proud to say that we completed the Bristol Half Marathon in 2hrs 50 minutes, thankyou to everyone who has made donations to our page, the page stays up for another three months so keep your donations coming this is a fantastic charity and every little makes a difference. In loving Memory of Sienna
Our beautiful baby girl Sienna came into the world 8 weeks before her due date weighing 3lb 11.5oz and made our little family complete. We found out on the day that Sienna was born that she had Down Syndrome.
We received fantastic support from the Bristol Area Down Syndrome Association. We feel very blessed to have been welcomed into such a supportive and friendly network.
Sienna was doing so well in the Special Care Baby Unit to begin with, we even had a meeting to plan for her to come home, we were so excited and happy to think that after many weeks we were going to all be together as a family.
It broke our hearts when Sienna became poorly, but we never gave up hoping, and neither did Sienna. We were amazed and inspired at the strength of our little baby.
The Doctors said that Sienna had a very rare and incurable lung condition, there was nothing more they could do, and our precious baby girl passed away in her daddy's arms, the same day that we had her blessed. She was 22 weeks old.
Sienna you leave behind a brokenhearted mummy, daddy and brother. But you are ALWAYS in our hearts, we love you and always will. You've made us so proud, and taught us that love is a bond that can never be broken.
Always loved, never forgotten.
