We are all competing in the London Triathlon on 9th August to raise money for Concern Worldwide an international development Charity focusing on the poorest communities throughout the world.  Concern helps the most vulnerable people by finding practical and innovative solutions and making a real difference to their difficult lives.

Our focus for this event is the work being undertaken by Concern in Sierra Leone.  As you will know civil war has devastated the infrastructure and livelihoods of many communities across the country.  Concern are working in the Tonkolili District providing urgent support and the basic necessities of life that we all take for granted.  Clean water, health support and education.  Your donation is helping to keep this work going and giving those worst effected by war the chance to get their feet back on the ladder.  It will make a real difference.

We have all been training hard to make sure that we complete the race and perhaps even put in a good performances on the day.  Many miles have been swam, cycled and run for this good cause
