All this fundraising is in memory of Edward Dyson
Edward Dyson died on 13th February 2009 at the age of 30 after battling a brain tumour for two years. He was survived by wife Victoria and 15 month old son Harry.
Following his death, his family set up a friends group in his name, within the Samantha Dickson Brain Tumour Trust, with the aim of raising money and awareness to help the charity continue it's groundbreaking and hugely important work to help people and their families affected by brain tumours and perhaps one day find some answers that will change the devastating effects of this disease.
Two years after Edward died, this group exceeded any initial fundraising expectations through sponsorship, donations and giftaid to raise over £27,000 in Edward's name. We are so grateful for the sterling efforts made by his friends, family and friends of the family who have been critical in helping to keep this going and always welcome any new fundraising/awareness raising ideas or just donations in loving memory of Edward.
