Story
Clare was a much loved mother of three who passed away suddenly in May 2012 after a short illness. She was a wonderful and kind mother, fiancee, friend and lady who is very dearly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
Clare was a registered organ donor who helped two people to live after her death. Her last selfless act typified her kind caring and generous attitude she had throughout her life.
We are raising money for the critical care unit at Russells Hall hospital in Dudley in Clares memory and to give thanks for the wonderful care she received during her final days there. The staff in the unit are very special people. Our ultimate aim is to purchase a piece of equipment for the unit.
Our first fundraising event is the Roseland Triathlon on 4th August 2012 in Cornwall. Clares sons, partner and some brave friends are taking part in this gruelling event. Clare made the trip last year to watch her boys compete and would have returned this year to cheer them on again. We feel it is a fitting event to start our fundaising campaign.
So please give whatever you can to help us, donating is easy and every penny raised will go towards helping those in need.
