A group of us will be doing a sponsored walk on the 2nd July to raise money for Lifeblood: The Thrombosis Charity in Memory of my younger sister Lara who tragically lost her life aged 19 as a result of a pulmonary embolism. Thank you for all your continued support.

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. As many of you know, my little sister Lara passed away suddenly on 23rd February 2009 after a blood clot travelled into her lungs. Although fit and healthy, her arm and leg swelled, Lara then dies within a matter of hours. We are therefore trying to help 'Lifeblood' raise money for research and to improve awareness of Thrombosis.
Thromobosis is a widespread condition and a leading cause of death in the UK. It is known as a silent condition, as there can be little or no symptoms.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor Lifeblood: The Thrombosis Charity which gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
Thank you for your support.
