We did it! We ran the British 10k London run. Thank you again to everybody who sponsored us. We never anticipated these fundraising results! We could not have done this without you. Please note that this fundraising page will be open until October for anybody who would still like to sponsor us.

Angelika, Bill, Jason and Kate will be running the British 10k London Run on the 12th July 2009 in memory of Saskia.
Saskia was diagnosed with severe Aplastic Anaemia in December 2007. She battled through 3 bone marrow transplants, severe infections, went through chemotherapy, radiation treatment and stayed in hospital for over 6 months. The Edward's Trust supported our family through this period with free accommodation and parking. A support which enabled us to be close during this very difficult period. Saskia was taken from us in February 2009 at the age of 3 years. She had an infection that was too strong for her weak immune system to fight. Saskia was a very brave and very special angel; her sunshine is deeply missed.
Our fundraising target is £1,406.09 - Saskia would have celebrated her 4th birthday on 14/06/09.

£10 will pay for a bereaved child to enjoy a social activity.
£25 pays for holistic supportive care to ease stress and anxiety.
£50 pays for outreach support or a memory book for a bereaved child.
£100 enables Edward's Trust to run bereavement groups.
£280 can help provide support and counselling for a bereaved parent for a month.
£500 provides social activities and outings for groups of bereaved children.
£1000 enables groups of bereaved individuals and couples to share weekend support retreats.
